Breaking Bread & Barriers: One Nation. OneJax - June 3, 2025

Jacksonville is at its best when we’re united. This supper series, “Breaking Bread & Barriers,” began in October of 2024 for discussions around the theme, One Nation. OneJax. Using language from the Pledge of Allegiance as our guide, the four sessions will encourage participants to share respectful conversations around topics pertaining to the Pledge of Allegiance and will wrap up in June of 2025.

Session 4: “For All” - For real? Who is “All?” We’ll go beyond diversity and inclusion to dig into pluralism and belonging. Is there a future Jacksonville that makes room for differences and celebrates diversity? Can we create a community that welcomes people from different backgrounds, perspectives, and traditions and provides space for them to express views and practice their beliefs without reprisal—even when they conflict with others? Can we embrace a OneJax where everyone belongs?

The cost per attendee is $40 and helps OneJax cover food, venue, and speakers for this event.
